Linda Calhoun

I grew up in Texas and moved to Red River in 1978 after graduating from West Texas State University with a degree in Nursing. What started as a change of scenery quickly became a lifelong love for this mountain town. I’ve been selling real estate in Red River since 1985 and became the Qualifying Broker for Calhoun Real Estate in 2000.

Our company’s roots run deep—my father-in-law, Glen A. Calhoun, founded the business in 1962, and we've been proudly serving the Red River community ever since.

In addition to real estate, my husband Ted and I own and operate Der Markt Food Store and Main Street Mercantile. We’ve raised five children here, and we’re now blessed with eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Since 2006, I’ve had the honor of serving as the Mayor of Red River, a role that has deepened my love for this community and the people who call it home.
